Robert Skubisz – the chef of Amber Room Restaurant Al. Ujazdowskie 13, Warsaw.

Within 12 years of his career Robert had worked and had been apprenticed to many well-known chefs as follows: Kurt Scheller, Frank Funke, Artur Greiber, Paweł Oszczyk, Wojciech Modest-Amaro, thanks to whom he had gained professional experience and skills at the world-class level essential to fulfill duties on the current position.

He took the first step in his culinary career in Sheraton Hotel but while departing, he was assuming a post of the deputy Chef of Cold Kitchen.

Working at the side of the eminent chef – Paweł Oszczyk was the next, unforgettable challenge he met while his development in culinary industry.

In 2004 Robert determined to bound his career with Amber Room Restaurant, in which he is improving his professional skills to date. In 2011 his efforts was valued and he was nominated the chef.

Robert Skubisz specializes in a modern edition of Polish cuisine making use of world culinary trends, like, for instance sous vide method. He promotes the idea of slow-food and does his best to promote a local cuisine as well as the seasonal one.

Robert is extremely energetic, always willing to attempt new challenges. Being a chef he is demanding but he never forgets he should demand of himself in the first place / but in the first place, he sets himself the highest targets.
