The Sobański Palace

BEAUTY AND TRADITION

The Sobański Palace is a historic residence in the heart of a beautiful garden located on Ujazdowskie Avenue, the most glamorous street in Warsaw and part of the so-called Royal Route. It houses the Amber Room restaurant and is the headquarters of the Polish Business Roundtable Club. The restaurant serves a sophisticated à la carte menu, while sommelier ensures the best wine selection from the palace’s cellar. We also offer a tasting menu and lunch menu during the whole week.  A selection of vegetarian dishes is available as well. All our meals are created using high-quality ingredients. The restaurant bakes its own fresh bread every day, and offers homemade ice cream. Our waiting staff guarantees perfect service and comfort for our guests. Restaurant was awarded four „fork and spoon” marks by the Michelin guide in 2019 and Gault&Millau 2019. It received the honourable mention from Wine Spectator’s „Award of Excellence 2019” and it is on a list of the 100 best restaurants in the world in „ La Liste” selection.

During the pre-war period Sobański Palace and its’ Crystal Room were famous for hosting top Warsaw Balls. Its current shape is a heritage after Countess Emilia Łubieńska-Sobańska, who decided to rebuild the Renaissance villa following the design by Leonardo Marconi from 1876.

The famous architect placed a perfect copy of the statue of David made by one of the greatest sculptors of the Italian Renaissance – Donatello. Standing in the garden in front of the Palace the sculpture symbolizes victory, courage and ingenuity.

Since 2009, the Amber Room Restaurant and the garden with the terrace are open to all Guests. Today the crystal chandeliers – as in the past era – time after time glitter with amazing light during weddings, private conferences and business meetings.
